A little problem with my desktop which also seems to have affected my backup drive. The problem has been resolved but has taken a couple of weeks. Bloody computers. Back to normal now (I hope) but without my guest book. Also, tighter controls on access to the bulletin board. I would be interested to hear from anyone who can solve spam on bulletin boards. On a personal note I have managed to reduce email spam by 95% using BT's version of Norton (seems better than the copy I purchased a couple of years ago) and greater use of spam rules in Outlook. You can also try unsubscribe but beware as some spammers are just waiting for you to reply using this method.

Finally content regarding the Knutsford Royal Mayday begins to appear. Webmaster feels the site is coming along nicely although feedback is thin on the ground. Still early days, it all takes time.

A visitor's log is added to the site in the hope that visitor's will leave their mark. This as to provide other users and the webmaster an idea of who uses the site.

Due to a request (or challenge), a domain name search engine has been added to the site. This can be found at the bottom of the page at http://www.marcliff.net/hosting.htm.

Webmaster provides site with a bulletin board. Although usage isn't expected immediately it should provide interest within the first year.

Marcliff.Net is re-introduced on the World Wide Web as a link between Knutsford and the rest of the world. Although limited readers can see new format and what will be available in the future.
